Filmmaking research: British Film Insititute

I have recently taken part in the filmmaking short course offered by the British Film Institute this has overall been an extremely useful experience as it has effectively been a three month crash course in all the different parts of filmmaking - from filming to editing to scriptwriting.

To do this I had to shoot my own short film as well as attend QnA sessions and Masterclasses with industry professionals such as director Clio Bernard which has also helped to give me an insight into the actual working film industry, how I can enter it as well as providing me with useful contacts for the future

Furthermore I will also hopefully gain an NCFE level 2 grade in Preparing To Work in The Film Industry which is a recognized qualification across the profession

Overall this has been an extremely useful experience for me as it has helped me to improve my skills and knowledge in all areas of the film industry as well as make various valuable contacts - including Yen Yau: a talent executive who has gotten BFI students places on Warner Bros sets before
